The short version: We collect minimal data needed to operate the service. Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe—we never see or store your credit card information.

Information we store:
- License key associated with your purchase
Information collected during app usage:
- Standard API calls to our servers
- License verification requests when launching the application
This usage data is collected solely to operate and improve the service, verify valid licenses, and ensure application functionality.
Information We Do Not Collect
- We do not store credit card numbers or payment details
- We do not sell or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes
- We do not track your activity outside of the FedScout application
How We Use Your Information
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Verify your license and provide access to the software
- Operate and maintain the service

Third-Party Services
FedScout uses the following third-party services:
- Stripe — Payment processing. Stripe collects and processes all payment information according to their privacy policy.
- SAM.gov API — Federal contract data. Users provide their own SAM.gov API key to access government contract data. Your API key is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Data Retention
We retain your license key information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. If you wish to delete your information, please contact us.

- Cancel your subscription at any time through Stripe
